Château de La Roque Forcade grows a variety of grape varieties on its 8 hectares, all of which are worked by hand. Planted in 1993, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cinsault and Syrah formed the basis of the first vintages. In 2018, Rolle was introduced, followed by new Syrah plants in 2019. The years 2020 and 2023 saw the arrival of Clairette Blanche, Viognier, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsault. The blending of these different grape varieties, aged in oak barrels, gives the wines great roundness and complexity on the palate. This ageing process brings a wisdom and depth that will delight lovers of complex, warm wines.
